About Carmanor

  • Carmanor Limited was incorporated in 2014 for the purpose of professionalising, commercialising and scaling existing corporate social responsibility projects established by mining companies in West Africa, specifically those that have invested in palm oil plantations that are not yet financially sustainable

  • Through partnering with mining companies, Carmanor has access to existing infrastructure which leads to a significantly lower establishment cost compared with a greenfield
    agricultural development

  • Carmanor establishes vertically integrated operations to produce high quality crude palm oil from plantation and smallholder/outgrower feedstock to meet local and regional market demand in West Africa

  • The cornerstone investment is African Lion Agriculture Limited (ALA), a palm oil operation in Sierra Leone established by London-listed Sierra Rutile Limited

  • Carmanor has a strong commitment to delivering a positive community impact

  • Carmanor is lead by a highly experienced board and management team with extensive experience operating across the African continent

  • The long term goal is to create a large scale palm oil business that can supply sustainably produced West African palm oil to customers in Africa and further afield
